UH honors scholars for 2004
The University of Hawai'i recently recognized its 2004 regents and residential scholars at its annual awards dinner.
The UH Board of Regents established the awards to support students with a record of outstanding academic achievement.
The regents scholars are: Tanya Badayos, Baldwin High School; Carlo Barbasa, Radford High School; Aaron Fujimoto, Kaua'i High School; Kalli Harada, Mililani High School; Jillian Haraguchi, Mid-Pacific Institute; Jaime Hongo, Kalani High School; Kara Kusunoki, Maui High School; Sheela Menon, Sacred Hearts Academy; Takashi Miura, Roosevelt High School; Jacob Miyasato, Punahou School; Hunter Morrison, Kaua'i High School; Dallas Nagata, King Kekaulike High School; Jaclyn Palola, Hanalani High School; Carol Pham, Iolani School; Thomas Tai Takemoto-Chock, Waiakea High School; Tyler Tamashiro, Mililani High School; Iris Teruya, Kaiser High School; Wade Tonaki, Mililani High School; Michelle Tsang Mui Chung, Waiakea High School; and Ariel Zane, Mililani High School.
The presidential scholars are: Kanoa Chung, University of Hawai'i at Manoa; Kathy Gollaher, UH-Hilo; and Benjamin Gouldthorpe, Marcus Iwane, Alice Kim, Lisa Miller, Michelle Sasaki, Eli Tsukayama, Tasha Valenzuela and Andrea Wong, all of UH-Manoa.
