Man arrested after argument

A 40-year-old Wahiawa man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening after his Koa Street neighbor said the man threatened him with a gun.

The neighbor, 25, said he had been arguing with the older man before being threatened.

Teen accused of threatening

A Pearl City girl was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening after an 11:30 a.m. incident at a state-run special education school on Waimano Home Road in Pearl City yesterday.

According to police reports, a teacher told the girl, 16, to behave after she became disruptive in the classroom. The girl then verbally abused and threatened the teacher, a 32-year-old man, and then a counselor, a 29-year-old woman, police said.

Youth suspected in April assault

A 17-year-old Halawa boy was arrested yesterday on suspicion of second-degree assault charges in connection with an April attack on a 19-year-old Halawa man that left him with multiple facial fractures.

Police believe the youth arrested yesterday is one of four boys who approached the man at about 1 a.m. April 12 while he was cleaning up after his birthday party and beat him.
