• A story on foreclosures in Hawai'i, in an Aug. 1 Business story, referred to Stephen W. Fischer, who purchased and later resold an 'Aiea woman's condominium. The story did not include Fischer's middle initial. Meanwhile Stephen S. Fischer has asked The Advertiser to clarify that he is not the person involved in the condominium sale and resale.
• Parker Levy, who was shown in a photo that illustrated a story about the Halekulani Hotel in an Island Life story on Aug. 15 is 5 months old. His age was incorrect in the caption. Another photo showed gifts given at turn-down service. The caption incorrectly identified them as check-in gifts.
• Peggy Thern teaches English as a second language at McKinley Community School for Adults. The name of the school was incorrect in a Local News story on Sunday.
• A new section of Queen Street between Kamake'e and Waimanu streets will open to traffic next month. Waimanu was misspelled in a Local News story yesterday.
