Hawaiian Air fills most seats

Advertiser Staff

Hawaiian Airlines led the nation in filling seats with an 88.3 percent load factor for July, the sixth time that Hawaiian has topped the industry in seven months.

Hawaiian was followed by JetBlue, Northwest, United and Spirit airlines.

Safeway's image ranks highest

Safeway received the top corporate-image ranking in an annual study of 80 Hawai'i companies conducted by Honolulu-based research company SMS.

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children was ranked second, with Time Super Market, Longs Drug Stores and Foodland rounding out the top five.

The rankings are based on a survey of 2,500 randomly selected residents who are quizzed on an extensive list of issues, including whether they thought specific companies were trustworthy, friendly, a good value and a good place to work.
