• Construction industry accounting veteran MARGARET BARKLEY has been promoted to corporate secretary of RCI (Robison Construction Inc.) Construction Group. With the promotion, she becomes a company officer, while maintaining her responsibilities as controller. • DONALD G. HORNER, president and chief operating officer of First Hawaiian Bank, has been appointed to the Iolani School board of governors. Horner is also a member of First Hawaiian Bank's board of directors; is executive vice president of the parent company, BancWest Corp.; chairman of First Hawaiian Leasing Inc. and Bishop Street Capital Management, and is a member of the First Hawaiian Foundation board. Horner's two sons attend Iolani. • JODY BANNISTER has been named corporate sales manager of Title Guaranty of Hawai'i, a family of companies offering a full range of property title and escrow services. She will direct the company's statewide sales team and Windward O'ahu business. She was previously the company's account manager for Windward O'ahu and downtown Honolulu. • MICHAEL K. COX, recently appointed senior property manager for CB Richard Ellis Hawaii Inc., will oversee the Kamehameha Schools Bishop Estate Kalihi portfolio. Before joining the full-service commercial brokerage firm, Cox was asset manager and assistant vice president in GE Capital Hawaii Inc.'s commercial real-estate division. • ANNA MARIE SPRINGER, a 20-year veteran of American Savings Bank, has been appointed senior vice president and community liaison in charge of community development, and of the Bishop Insurance Agency. She is also a recent appointment to the Chaminade University Board of Regents. • TODD WELLS has been promoted to food and beverage director at W Honolulu. He will continue to head up the kitchen at Diamond Head Grill, as well as overseeing all hotel food and beverage operations. HEATH PORTER has been promoted to general manager of Diamond Head Grill, which includes oversight of "front of house" operations. He will continue to run the restaurant's wine program. DEREK TSUDA has been promoted to chef de cuisine at Diamond Head Grill kitchen.
