The government office set up to help victims of the recent flooding in Manoa will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today and then close down for more than a month.

The U.S. Small Business Administration opened the disaster office two week ago to accept applications for long-term, low-interest loans from businesses, homeowners, renters and nonprofit organizations whose property was damaged as a result of heavy rains Oct. 30.

The office, located in the Manoa Innovation Center at 2800 Woodlawn Drive, Suite 101, will reopen Jan. 11 before shutting down for good Jan. 18, the final day to submit a loan application.
