Pearl City Marine's services set

Funeral services for Lance Cpl. Blake A. Magaoay, 20, a 2002 Pearl City High graduate killed last Monday in fighting in Fallujah, Iraq, are set for Dec. 12 and 13.

Magaoay, assigned to the Marines' 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion out of Camp Pendleton, Calif., was hit by small arms fire.

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Borthwick Mortuary. A remembrance program will be at 6:30 p.m.

Visitation also is scheduled from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Dec. 13, with a service at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.

Magaoay is survived by his mother, Gina Ellis-Williams; father, Tony Magaoay; and brother, Octavio Rosas.
