Tonight's Must-See

Tonight on KHNL News 8

Get the latest news at 5, 6 and 10 from Howard Dashefsky and Jodi Leong, plus up-to-the-minute weather from Sharie Shima.

"Ice II: Hawaii's Crystal Meth Epidemic," 7 p.m., KHON, KITV, KFVE, KGMB, KHNL, KBFD and KIKU. Last year, Edgy Lee's stark and gripping documentary shined a light on Hawai'i's crystal methamphetamine problem. But as Lee herself admits, the story hardly ended there. Now local TV affiliates will simulcast Lee's follow-up documentary, commercial-free. "Ice II" offers startling stories of young ice users from Kahala to Wai'anae as well as the broader impact of the drug on business and society.

Of Note

"12 Days of Christmas Eve," 8 and 10 p.m., USA Network. A hard-driving businessman (Steve Weber) has no idea how to behave on Christmas Eve. Now an other-worldly force (Molly Shannon) keeps having him get thumped on the head until he gets it right. It will take a while, as the title suggests; still "12 Days" is fun. Credit the crisp direction of Martha Coolidge and the offbeat intervals with Shannon. We know where this is going, but there are fun detours along the way.

"The Five People You Meet in Heaven," 8 p.m., ABC Family. If you missed Sunday's premiere on ABC, here's another chance. Mitch Albom's story starts with an 83-year-old handyman (Jon Voight) dying. Then he meets people he's affected for good or bad. The story is overwrought, with too many life-and-death events. But director Lloyd Kramer has turned it into a rich-looking and involving film.

"High School Reunion," 8 p.m., WB. The third season of this reality show involves people who grew up amid the sunshine and prosperity of Cardinal Gibbons High in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. These are attractive folks, trimmed for a beach world, but audiences may find only a couple of them worth rooting for. There's a gentle giant who plays pro basketball in Italy; there's a quiet guy, overcoming shyness. The women tend to be beautiful but shallow.

"According to Jim," 8 p.m., ABC. In a rerun, Jim's wife wants him to end a feud.

"House," 9 p.m., Fox. Dr. House predicts an infection will race through the hospital. The more important issue involves figuring out what it is and how to stop it.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," 9 p.m., NBC. The focus is on Fin (Ice-T). After he's shot in a convenience store, he gets a chance to be reunited with his son.
