THE LEFT LANE
This online dating site takes a soulful approach

Advertiser Staff and News Services

Soulmatch, an online dating service created by Beliefnet, an independent faith site, takes a different approach to the dating dance. The service, which starts at $29.95 a month, links souls by asking user profile questions like, "When was the last time you lied but were sure it was the right thing to do?"

Another query: "How important is faith or spirituality to you?" And it seems to be drawing a little older audience than the usual online dating service.

Also, there's the added feature of being able to ask a counselor, a minister or a rabbi for dating advice. Information: www.soulmatch.com. Beliefnet's site is www.beliefnet.com.

Try the old hair spray-on-a-Q-tip trick to remove ink stain on leather

Ink stains. No matter how hard you try, the renegade pen somehow seems to leak and ruin a good leather purse.

Before chucking the purse to the curb, try this tip on how to remove ink stains from leather, offered by Bob Lopresti of Joe Pacific Shoe Repair.

"I use an old home remedy. On light-colored leather, I spray hair spray on a Q-tip and apply it to the ink line or spot. About 85 percent of the time, it comes out. On dark leathers, you can just buff it out or use polish to cover it up."

FINAL WORD

British pop star Robbie Williams, via AP Television News:

"I'm not married, I've never been married, I have no girlfriend, I want a girlfriend. I'm Aquarius, I'm average in bed, I'm a good footballer. I like food and I can move things with my mind."
