Kadomatsu Class, John White teaches how to create a kadomatsu by making a miniature sample, 9:30-10:30 a.m. tomorrow, Foster Botanical Garden; $15 for botanical gardens members, $18 for non-members. Reservations: 537-1708.
2nd annual Kadomatsu Sale, traditional Japanese New Year's decoration created by the Men's Leadership of Hawaii Foundation will be available for pickup from noon to 3 p.m. on Dec. 19 at Kawananakoa Middle School. Reservation tickets for the 18-inch plants are available by sending a check and a SASE to MLH Foundation, PMB #148, 98-1277 Ka'ahumanu St., 'Aiea, HI 96701 or by calling 261-9342. The kadomatsu are $25, tax deductible, to benefit the programs of the MLH Foundation.
