Help us find Hawai'i's Island Heroes

Advertiser Staff

In Hawai'i, neighbors look after neighbors, and there is deep understanding of aloha — tolerance, humility, sharing and respect. Our friends, neighbors and co-workers lend a hand, share a smile and make a difference every day. Life wouldn't be the same without these good neighbors who give to the less fortunate and work selflessly so that others in need may have a better life.

We'd like to hear about these "Island Heroes" for an upcoming feature. Send your nomination by e-mail to hawaii@honoluluadvertiser.com, or to City Desk, The Advertiser, P.O. Box 3110, Honolulu, HI 96802. The deadline is Dec. 17.
