Abductors of woman sought

Police are looking for two teenagers who kidnapped a woman Thursday night in Mililani.

The woman said she was waiting in a parking lot at about 10:30 when two males asked for a ride. When the woman declined, the males put her in her car trunk and drove off.

The woman was able to escape from the car and call police.

Both males were described as 15 to 18 years old, 5-feet-4 and 120 pounds.


Road crew finds man's body

Police are investigating the death of a 64-year-old man whose body was found floating Thursday in a drainage canal near Kamehameha Highway and Hekaha Street in Waimalu.

A state Department of Transportation crew was clearing brush from the side of the highway when workers discovered the body in the canal just mauka of the highway.

Investigators are waiting for the results of an autopsy.
