Utah's Kemoeatu on writers' All-America

Utah senior offensive guard Chris Kemoeatu was selected as one of 25 players on the Football Writers Association of America All-America Team, his fifth honor this year.
The 6-foot-4, 338-pound Kemoeatu, a 2001 graduate of Kahuku, was also named to the first teams for College Football News and Sports Illustrated, was a second-team selection on the Associated Press All-America team, and was selected to the Rivals.com 54-player squad.
He was also an All-Mountain West Conference first-team selection for fifth-ranked Utah.
Suzuki to hold catcher's camp at Mililani High
Maui's Kurt Suzuki, the 2004 national college player of the year, will be holding a catcher's camp along with his collegiate catching coach Dec. 28-29 at Mililani High's baseball field.
Suzuki, the 67th overall pick by the Oakland Athletics in the June baseball draft, will be joined by former Cal State Fullerton assistant Chad Baum, now an assistant at Cal Irvine. Suzuki, a graduate of Baldwin High, helped lead CSUF to the College World Series title.
The camp is split into two sessions. Players ages 9-14 will have their session from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. each day, while the players 15-18 will have theirs from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on both days.
Cost of the two-day camp is $225, which includes a T-shirt.

The Brigham Young University of Hawai'i men's basketball team moved up two spots to 12th place in the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches Division II Poll released Tuesday.
The Seasiders have been idle since defeating Hawai'i Pacific on Dec. 1. They resume play Saturday against St. Thomas Aquinas (N.Y.) at the Cannon Activities Center starting at 7:30 p.m.
BYU-Hawai'i will be without senior Jake Chrisman, who is out with a knee injury.
