JENE M. BIXLER, 81, of Kailua, died March 26, 2004. Born in Kenton, Ohio. A retired U.S. Navy commander and decorated Navy air combat veteran. Survived by wife, Patricia; son, Brent; daughters, Susan Bixler-Wilcox and Gretchen Bixler-Robinson; five grandchildren; sister, Marie Bixler-Bone. Service 11:30 a.m. today at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. No flowers. Aloha attire. Memorial donations to the American Lung Association for Emphysema Research.

FLORENCE LEE CHUN, 88, of Honolulu, died Nov. 28, 2004. Born in New York. A homemaker. Survived by children, Tom Chun, Wendy Davis and Dan Chun; sister, Virginia Mead; four grandchildren.
