WAIPAHU A 26-year-old man was stabbed to death yesterday afternoon, the second homicide on O'ahu in as many days.
Police said the man and two other employees at a landscaping business at 96-075 Farrington Highway had just finished work when they got into an argument. The three began fighting when one of the men pulled a knife and stabbed the 26-year-old man about 5:15 p.m., police homicide Lt. Bill Kato said.
The assailant and the other man got into a white Honda and drove away. Kato said police have the names of the two and police were looking for them last night.
The victim was taken to St. Francis Medical Center-West, where he was pronounced dead a short while later. His name was not released last night.
Kato said no weapon was recovered and he did not know the nature of the victim's wounds.
At about 7:45 p.m., a brother of the victim and several other relatives appeared at the scene, apparently unaware that their loved one had died. An hour later police took the brother aside to inform him of his brother's death.
