C.S. Wo opening Salt Lake store

C.S. Wo & Sons plans to open an 18,000-square-foot Room Stores Hawaii furniture store off Salt Lake Boulevard on Mala'ai Street on Jan. 1, the company said.

C.S. Wo operates C.S. Wo Gallery, HomeWorld Furniture, SlumberWorld, La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, DeZign Home, and SleepLand USA.

Cyanotech officer resigns

Cyanotech Corp, a Big Island maker of products derived from microalgae, said yesterday its scientific director, John E. Dore, is resigning to pursue other opportunities.

Dore will maintain a month-to-month consulting relationship with Cyanotech during the next six months.
