The Buzz

'Grease' continues

Flash back to the 1950s with Danny, Sandy and the gangs of "Grease," the musical production continuing at the Blaisdell Concert Hall. The tale of high schoolers in love and denial produced memorable songs such as "Summer Nights," "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee" and "Beauty School Dropout." The film, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, also featured the pop hits "You're the One that I Want" and "Hopelessly Devoted to You," both of which are included in this show by special permission. Real-life teen idol Frankie Avalon appears as the Teen Angel — as a bonus, he performs a mini concert of his hits after each show. Today's 4 p.m. show will be signed for the hearing-impaired.
