Comedian Adam Sandler will play with Michelle Wie in the fourth annual First Hawaiian Bank Pro-Junior Challenge, 3 p.m., Jan. 11 at Waialae Country Club. The exhibition is part of Sony Open in Hawai'i week.

Sandler and the "Big Wiesy" — a Punahou sophomore who missed the cut at Sony by one shot a year ago — will take on five other "Pro"-Junior teams: Fred Funk and Kellen Watabu, Retief Goosen and Mari Chun, Peter Jacobsen and Kimberly Kim, Jerry Kelly and Sean Maekawa, and Tom Lehman and Jacob Low.

Kelly, the 2002 Sony Open champion, won the Challenge last year with Watabu.

The Challenge is a six-hole modified alternate shot contest. It starts on tournament No. 10 (members' No. 1) and goes on to 11, 12, 13, 17 and 18.

The winning pro, or comedian, receives $5,000. First Hawaiian Bank donates $12,000 to the Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association on behalf of the six juniors. Admission is free.
