CATCH OF THE DAY
When the shark bites...

After seeing this hammerhead shark for several weeks in the Hawai'i Kai Marina, Matthew Nakamoto, of Hawai'i Kai, snagged it using a 9-foot pole and aku belly for bait. Matthew, 13, caught it from the dock at his grandfather's (Albert Nakamoto) home. After some quick photos, Matthew, an eighth-grader at Hawai'i Baptist Academy, returned the shark to the water.
