South Carolina quarterback commits to UH

Brandon Satcher, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound quarterback from North Augusta High in South Carolina, has accepted a football scholarship from the University of Hawai'i.

Satcher said he will sign with the Warriors tomorrow, the first day NCAA recruits may put their commitments in writing.

"I'm coming out to Honolulu," Satcher told The Advertiser. "The coaches and players are really good people. The city of Honolulu is so beautiful, it's hard to turn down. I'll be playing behind one of the best quarterbacks in the nation (Tim Chang). Hopefully, I'll be able to learn something."
