Printing CD play lists from Windows Media

By Kim Komando

Q. Is there a way to print a song play list from Windows Media Player? I would like to print the play list when I burn a CD.

A. You can't print play lists directly from Windows Media Player 9, the most current version. You'll need to spend $20 for the Plus! Digital Media Edition, which adds the capability to print play lists on CD labels and jewel box inserts and other features.

Q. How can I tell if my computer has USB 2.0 or USB 1.1 ports?

A. Check Device Manager. In Windows XP, click Start and Control Panel. Double-click System and select the Hardware tab. Click Device Manager. Windows 2000 is similar. In Windows 98 and ME, click Start, Settings and Control Panel. Double-click System and select the Device Manager tab. In all versions of Windows, click the plus sign next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers. If you see the word Enhanced, you have USB 2.0. If not, your USB system is 1.1.
