March 1 — Deadline for Boatwright Internship. Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association is offering an eight-month internship for individuals interested in golf administration. Former Boatwright interns or members or family members of the U.S. Golf Association or Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association are not eligible. Send cover letter and resume to: HSJGA, P.O. March 15 — Deadline for 11th Annual Guinea Kop Memorial Golf Tournament, March 23 at Pearl Country Club. Registration and lunch at 10:30 a.m., followed by shotgun start at 12:20 p.m. Format: Three-person team scramble, maximum handicaps, men-30/women-36. Fee: $450 per team (includes two mulligans per person). Open to the first 216 players. Deadline: March 15. Information: 952-GOLF.
May 7 — HTA/Penske Truck Leasing Golf Tournament. Hosted by the Hawai'i Prince Golf Club. Shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. Minimum team handicap is 20, handicaps women-40/men-36. Fee: Early registration $375 per team or $125 per person. Information: 833-6628.
