THE LEFT LANE
Revisiting blink-182

Advertiser Staff and News Services

It's been four years since guitarist/vocalist Tom Delonge, bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker were here with their musical mash notes to the lives and loves of sk8terbois, but those twentysomething granddaddies of pop-punk, blink-182, are returning to Hawai'i for shows April 3-4. (Come on, you know all the words to "All The Small Things," "What's My Age Again?" and "First Date," right? Right?)

Tickets go on sale Feb. 14 at 9 a.m. The band, with a new self-titled CD , plays O'ahu at April 3 at the Blaisdell Arena; tickets are $29.50 and $35 at Ticketmaster, or call (877) 750-4400. April 4 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center; tickets are $35; (808) 242-7469.

Valentine's warmup

Cupid alert: You may not want to brave Kahala Mall this weekend if you are single, bitter or a bit hostile when someone mentions Feb. 14. Do go if you're in the mood for a little mushiness. The mall is sponsoring a Valentine fashion and gift show, "Tre s Chic — Flirt!" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.

'Aloha with Love'

An Aloha with Love fashion show marks Valentine's Day to benefit Maui Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room, 4:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in the Maui Prince Hotel. Fashions by Paul Ropp Whaler's Village (below), Noa Noa, Hurricane, Reyn's and La Dolce Vita will be featured, with a finale by Bernard Tristan Foong. Tickets are $75; (808) 283-0190 or (808) 877-7878, ext. 624.
