Pape propels Iolani past Mid-Pacific

Kyle Pape hit three of his team's 10 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 13 points as No. 1-ranked Iolani trounced host Mid-Pacific, 65-32, last night in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball game.

Chris Perry led the Owls with 11 points.

Leilehua, Mililani capture West titles: The Leilehua boys and Mililani girls won their respective OIA Western Division championships yesterday at the Kalani High pool.

The Mules won both the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays, while Kapolei's Ed Afualo and Mililani's Bryan Avery and Dustin Fukuda each won a pair of individual events.

The Trojan girls also won the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays, while Lynette Fukuda and Raelynn Asaoka-Gaspar each won an individual event to lift Mililani over Kapolei, which finished second.
