What's open and closed Presidents Day

Here's what's open and closed on Presidents Day, Monday:

  • Federal, state and county offices: Closed.
  • Mail: All post offices closed. No regular residential or business delivery or pickup. No pickup from (blue) collection boxes. Express Mail delivered.
  • Libraries: Closed.
  • TheBus: Saturday schedule. Information: 848-5555 or www.thebus.org.
  • On-street parking: Free, except for Kalakaua Avenue metered stalls along Kapi'olani Park. Holiday tow-away zone parking as permitted by sign. Municipal lots must be fed.
  • Traffic: No coning.
  • Trash: Regular rubbish pickups.
  • Refuse convenience centers: Open.
  • Open markets: Closed.
  • Attractions: Parks and recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo, open.
