Physical fitness has become a national mania. You see joggers in parks and along streets. Gymnasiums and health clubs are overcrowded. Millions of dollars are spent yearly on bicycles, slant boards, barbells and other muscle toners. And yet millions of Americans are physically weak and generally out of shape. They still eat too much, sit too much and weigh too much.
