Bauer WAC pitcher of the week

University of Hawai'i pitcher Ricky Bauer was named the Western Athletic Conference pitcher of the week, the conference office announced today.Bauer, a junior from Kaneohe, allowed but one unearned run while yielding six hits and striking out four in eight innings of the Rainbows’ 14-6 victory over Florida International Friday.
Bauer faced the minimum number of batters for the first six innings and has not allowed an earned run in his last 15 innings in starts against FIU and Cal State Northridge.
Rice infielder Adam Morris was named the WAC player of the week.
