Fund set up for fire victims

The Honolulu Board of Water Supply has set up a special fund for longtime employee Steven Nakamoto and his family following a fire at their 'Aiea home that killed two family members.

Killed in the Feb. 11 fire were Nakamoto's wife, Gay, and their son Jason. Steven Nakamoto, his mother, Harue, 82, and son Shannon escaped without serious injury. A third son, Ken, arrived home during the blaze.

Anyone wishing to make a contribution may send a check to the Board of Water Supply Federal Credit Union, 630 S. Beretania St., Engineering Building, Room 205, Honolulu, HI 96843. The notation "Steven Nakamoto Family" should be included on the memo line of the check.
