A little looser interpretation of the stage this weekend

Advertiser Staff

Members of On The Spot are ready for some craziness with "Improv Asylum," beginning tonight at The ARTS at Marks Garage.
Also on stage this weekend:

On The Spot: "Improv Asylum" is offered by the central O'ahu troupe On The Spot, which promises a fast-paced theatrical experience.

"From the beginning we've always treated our audience like they were seeing a punk-rock concert instead of a theatrical troupe," said Garrick Paikai, leader of On The Spot, in a press release. The ensemble has performed at the Honolulu Academy of Arts, Leeward Community College lab theater, Ward's Rafters and Borders Waikele. "Asylum" features Paikai, Reb Allen, Rod Cachola, Lizzie Wolfe, Meredith Desha, MJ Gonsalvo, Chris Howard and Chris Riel.
