Services Thursday for pair killed in 'Aiea fire

Combined services will be held Thursday for victims of a Feb. 11 'Aiea home fire. Killed in the blaze were Gay Keiko Nakamoto, 52, office manager for Children's Medical Associates, and her son Jason Shigeo Nakamoto, 26, an electrician with Techno Electrical Enterprises.

Both were born in Honolulu.

Visitation and service for the two are planned from 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 6 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.

Gay Nakamoto is survived by survived by husband, Steven; sons, Shannon and Ken; grandson, Jaryn; father, William Tamayei; mother, Kimiko Donlan; brothers, Daniel, Reynold and Scott Tamayei; sisters, Kathleen Marshman, Lisa Tamayei and Cheryl Tamayei; stepmother, Aiko Tamayei.

Jason Nakamoto is survived by son, Jaryn; father, Steven; brothers, Shannon and Ken; grandparents, Haruye, William Tamayei and Kimiko Donlan; stepgrandmother, Aiko Tamayei.

Steven Nakamoto's employer, The Honolulu Board of Water Supply, has set up a special fund to help the family: contributions (with check notation: Steven Nakamoto Family) can go to Board of Water Supply Federal Credit Union, 630 S. Beretania St., Engineering Building, room 205, Honolulu, HI 96843.

Arrangements are being handled by Hosoi Garden Mortuary.
