Iolani seeking third title in a row

Advertiser Staff

Top-seeded Iolani will seek to become the first school to win three consecutive state high school boys basketball championships in more than 20 years.

The Raiders bring a 14-0 record into this week's Hawai'i High School Athletic Association/Hawaiian Airlines tournament at the Blaisdell Arena.

Punahou was the last school to win three straight titles, doing so in 1979, '80 and '81.
