Construction forum Friday

Construction and development leaders will discuss the effects of major government and redevelopment projects — and ways that small businesses can prepare for the work — at a breakfast forum Friday at the Plaza Club.

The forum will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Plaza Club at 900 Fort Street Mall. Cost is $25.

The forum will include a panel discussion involving Brad Davis, the Navy's public-private venture program manager; Daniel Dinell, executive director of the Hawaii Community Development Authority; and Bruce Coppa, president of Pacific Resource Partnership, an advocacy group for union contractors.
