Fullerton's Suzuki named Player of Week

SUZUKI

Suzuki, a 2001 graduate of Baldwin High, batted 6 for 12 with five runs and five RBIs as the Titans won their first road series of the season, taking 2 of 3 at the University of Houston.

Suzuki also won the weekly award for the weekend of Feb. 6-8 in a series sweep of UNLV.

The junior from Wailuku, Maui, has started every game for the Titans (6-6). He leads the team in six offensive categories: .512 batting average, .577 on-base percentage, 21 hits, 15 runs, 16 RBIs and eight walks.
