Weddings

Sonia Pualani Zarate, daughter of Teresita Zarate of Portland, Ore., and Robert Brian David, son of Robert C. David of Sun City Center, Fla., and Margaret David of Cleveland, were married Aug. 1 at Paliku Gardens at Kualoa Ranch, where the reception followed. The bride is now Sonia Pualani David. The family, including the groom's daughter, 9-year-old Savannah Melenalani David, lives in Honolulu.

Alyssa Aiko Faafetai Tottori, daughter of Sanford and Jacinta Tottori, and David Kawena Fung, son of Jeffrey and Leinaala Fung, were married July 27 at the Sheraton Moana Surfrider, where the reception followed. The bride ('Aiea High), now Alyssa Aiko Faafetai Fung, is a skin therapist. The groom, Roosevelt High, is a banquet porter. The family, including the couple's child, Lansen Kahekili Fung, lives in Honolulu.
