Harlan Cleveland is a former president of the University of Hawai'i. His name was misspelled in a commentary posted Sunday in the Focus section.
Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown Sept. 15. The date was incorrect in a listing of 2004 religious holidays posted Friday.
Waikiki resident Stanford Kanehiro was quoted in a Business story posted Dec. 27 about shopping on the day after Christmas. His name was misspelled.
The late Dr. Windsor Cutting was the first dean of the University of Hawai'i Medical School. His name was misspelled in an obituary for his widow, Mary Cutting, posted Dec. 9.
A Sunday Island Life story on genealogy incorrectly stated that Elbridge M. Smith designed a teaching kit used in classroom demonstrations about Pilgrim life. Smith republished the kit.
