Basketball

State finalists meet: The Interscholastic League of Honolulu boys basketball season opens tonight with four games, including Iolani at Saint Louis in a rematch of last year's state finalists.

That game is set for 6:30 p.m., as is Damien at Mid-Pacific. Other games, at 7 p.m., have Maryknoll at Punahou and University at Kamehameha.

Soccer

Unbeatens in action: Undefeated teams will square off in three soccer games today.

In the ILH, Pac-Five's boys will play Iolani at 4:15 p.m. at Kapi'olani Park Field No. 2. Both teams are 3-0-1.

In the OIA West, Kapolei's boys play at Pearl City in a matchup of 4-0 teams, and Mililani's girls travel to 'Aiea in a meeting of 5-0 squads. The boys games start at 5:30 p.m., and the girl games are set for 7:15.
