'Olelo chief leaving Feb. 27

Lurline Wailana McGregor has resigned her position as president and CEO of 'Olelo Community Television after 6› years and will leave the organization Feb. 27.
McGregor, 52, will continue producing a segment for a national public television project on ethnic minority issues, she said yesterday.
"Management is a full-time thing," she said. "At this time in my life, I have to follow my passions, which is my creative work."
Radio station debuts on Kaua'i
Chang Broadcasting of Hawaii launched its first radio station, Coast-FM at 87.7 FM on Kaua'i, on Monday.
The radio station's program also can be heard on television Channel 6, said Jeff Chang, company president and CEO, in a statement.
The station plays "soft contemporary" and Island hits from a studio in Lihu'e.
Builders meeting set for February
The Associated Builders and Contractors, a Washington, D.C.-based trade association representing 23,000 construction-related companies, will hold its annual national convention Feb. 25-29 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
