Advertiser Staff

Yesterday's windy and rainy weather caused chaos in high school sports schedules across three islands yesterday, affecting most sporting events.

The Hawai'i High School Athletic Association, after receiving reports from various league sports coordinators and officials, announced the following schedule changes yesterday:

  • 13 of 14 O'ahu Interscholastic Association, Interscholastic League of Honolulu and Kaua'i Interscholastic Federation softball games postponed;
  • 12 OIA and Maui Interscholastic League varsity soccer games postponed;
  • Four OIA and MIL varsity boys basketball games postponed, one moved;
  • Two ILH canoe regattas postponed.

Games rescheduled for today, including all OIA softball and soccer games, are in Sports Today (page D4).
