Schools given 100 monitors

AT&T Hawaii has donated 100 computer monitors to six O'ahu schools: Ala Wai Elementary School, Kahuku High School, Kalaheo High School, Kalani High School, Mililani High School and Roosevelt High School.

"Our recent call-center growth and new systems applications required us to purchase new 21-inch computer monitors," said Jackie Ingamells, managing director of AT&T Hawaii. "We immediately thought about giving our replaced computer monitors, which are less than a year old and in excellent condition, to our local schools."

AT&T Hawaii is also providing manpower to help set up the computer monitors through AT&T CARES, a nationwide community initiative that provides AT&T employees eight paid hours to volunteer in the community.
