Finance class taught in Korean

Advertiser Staff

Money Smart, a free financial education program of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., soon will be taught in Korean.

The 10-class workshop is designed to help Korean-speaking residents better understand the U.S. banking and financial system. The classes will be taught by Central Pacific Bank employees along with the Hawaii Korean Chamber of Commerce and the Hawaii Chapter of the Korean American Coalition.

Weekly classes will start in mid-February. They will be held at the bank's Makiki and Mapunapuna branches.

For registration, call 544-0500 or download forms at www.centralpacificbank.com.
