"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. Comedy works best when it tugs you in opposite directions. This excellent rerun does that, with geeky romantic Ross (David Schwimmer) finding the perfect soulmate (Aisha Tyler).

"Biography," 6 p.m., A&E. In the old days this show often focused on powerful international figures. Tonight, it looks at "American Idol" judge Simon Cowell.

"Tru Calling," 7 p.m., Fox. Tru's latest bit of time travel takes her to her own high school reunion.

"Frontline: Chasing Saddam's Weapons," 9 p.m., PBS. This documentary follows the search in Iraq for weapons of mass destruction.
