Two arrested in Hilo drug raid

HILO, Hawai'i — Hilo Ice Task Force officers arrested two people during a drug raid at an 'A'api Place residence in Hilo Wednesday evening.

Justin Bachiller, 25, and a 23-year-old woman were arrested on drug charges. Officers say they found 5.1 grams of crystal meth, 2.4 grams of marijuana and illegal drug paraphernalia.

The woman was released, but Bachiller was being held in the Hilo cellblock on four bench warrants for unrelated cases.

Last week, the task force and police vice officers conducted searches at five Hilo locations, arresting eight suspects.
