• The appropriations bill approved by Congress this week includes $17.5 million for the East-West Center. A list of appropriations with a Local News story posted yesterday gave an incorrect figure.

• A previous purchase offer to the city for Block J was conditioned, in part, on taking 18 months to complete the transaction. The time frame was incorrect in a Business story posted yesterday.

• All Jammed Up performed last night at Anna Bannanas. The band's name was not listed correctly in the TGIF Weekend Calendar posted yesterday.

• The state Senate on Wednesday approved having school Superintendent Pat Hamamoto speak to a joint session of the Legislature by a majority voice vote. Republican Sen. Sam Slom voiced objection to the proposal, although it was not reflected in the Senate record. Sen. Paul Whalen, also a Republican, was not present during the vote. Information in a Local News story posted yesterday was incorrect.
