The appropriations bill approved by Congress this week includes $17.5 million for the East-West Center. A list of appropriations with a Local News story posted yesterday gave an incorrect figure.
A previous purchase offer to the city for Block J was conditioned, in part, on taking 18 months to complete the transaction. The time frame was incorrect in a Business story posted yesterday.
All Jammed Up performed last night at Anna Bannanas. The band's name was not listed correctly in the TGIF Weekend Calendar posted yesterday.
The state Senate on Wednesday approved having school Superintendent Pat Hamamoto speak to a joint session of the Legislature by a majority voice vote. Republican Sen. Sam Slom voiced objection to the proposal, although it was not reflected in the Senate record. Sen. Paul Whalen, also a Republican, was not present during the vote. Information in a Local News story posted yesterday was incorrect.
