Hilton thrives in fourth quarter

Hilton Hotels Corp. said its hotels in Honolulu and several other major cities "posted particularly strong results" in the fourth quarter.The reopening of Kalia Tower at the Hilton Hawaiian Village increased room revenues, the company said.
Hilton reported net income of $67 million, or 17 cents per share, in the fourth quarter of 2003, up from $40 million, or 11 cents per share, a year ago.
