It's the first time he's worked with Raitt, but he earlier connected with Cray in a TV special done at the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival. ...

Burgmaier's production companies (Maui Reflection Films/Jazz Alley TV) helped produce "Quattro Noza," a film by first-time Maui writer-director Joey Curtis, which will be shown in the 54th Annual Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin starting Feb. 15. And about the origin of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo name: Artistic director Tory Dobrin told BH exec director Steve Knox that the Trocks founders wanted to play off the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo group.

After Friday's show, the Trocks visited Hula's Bar & Lei Stand, where Jack Law hosted a benefit auction (for the Life Foundation) that raised $760 from sales of autographed posters, toe shoes and programs. Bravo! ...
