Tonight's Must-See

"Friends," 7 p.m., NBC. The main story in this rerun has hilarious twists. An adoption worker (Maria Pitillo of "Partners") is inspecting the home of Monica and Chandler. She likes them — but says she once knew a cad named Joey in the same building. Naturally, Joey pops in, leading to lies and disclaimers. This is what "Friends" does well.

Of Note

"Tru Calling," 7 p.m., Fox. Here's a rerun of an excellent hour with a rich, emotional core. Tru thinks her mission is to prevent the death of a fireman. A deeper mission, however, unfolds.

"The Apprentice," 8 p.m., NBC. NBC says this is where viewers can find new "Apprentice" episodes. Reruns will air 7 p.m. Wednesdays. Tonight, we find the women heading toward a sweep. They've won three episodes and three guys — most recently, Sam Solovey — have been ousted. Tonight's competition: running a restaurant.

"ER," 9 p.m., NBC. NBC plans to rerun the episode that had Pratt and Weaver meeting crises and disasters on the graveyard shift.

"Without a Trace," 9 p.m., CBS. A man thinks he's getting into his limousine. He isn't seen again.
