The best way to enjoy Fourth of July fireworks in safety is to leave the pyrotechnics to the professionals:

• Tonight and tomorrow night: Marine Corps Base Hawai'i at Kane'ohe, 9 p.m.

• Tonight: Kuhio Beach, 7:30 p.m.; Aloha Tower, 8:45 p.m.; Turtle Bay Resort, 9 p.m.

• Tomorrow night: Kailua Beach, 7:30 p.m.; Magic Island, 8 p.m.; Schofield Barracks, 8 p.m.; Pearl Harbor, 9 p.m.; Hickam Air Force Base, 9 p.m.
