Hawaiian flights 95% on time

Hawaiian Airlines reported that more than 95 percent of its flights arrived on schedule for May, giving Hawai'i's largest airline the best on-time service in the country for the seventh consecutive month.

Hawaiian also ranked second for passenger baggage (2.83 reports of mishandled baggage per 1,000 passengers) and fewest flight cancellations (eight out of 3,976 total flights).



Atlantis raises commissions

Atlantis Adventures has increased travel agent commissions to 15 percent from 10 percent for its Hawaii-based activities, Atlantis Submarines, Atlantis Cruises and Sea Life Park Hawaii.

The 15 percent commission is available to all non-contracted travel agents, Atlantis said.



AT&T gives troops free calls

AT&T Hawaii will donate 1,000 prepaid international calling cards to soldiers of the 411th Engineer Battalion of the Army Reserve serving in Iraq. Of the 625 soldiers who make up the unit, 250 are from O'ahu, 150 are from Guam, 100 are from Maui and the Big Island, and 40 are from American Samoa.
