Trio face drug, weapon counts

Honolulu police seized several hundred dollars in counterfeit currency, electronic equipment to produce counterfeit bills, a significant quantity of drugs believed to be crystal methamphetamine and firearms, some of them stolen, in a raid yesterday on a fourth-floor apartment unit at 2100 Date St. in Mo'ili'ili.

A 54-year-old man and two women, ages 42 and 36, were booked on multiple drug and illegal weapon counts. The older woman was also booked on suspicion of first- and second-degree forgery related to counterfeiting and identity theft.

The unit that was raided is being rented under the name of a person whose identity has been stolen, police said.
