Forget that dumb diet, Ice Cream Day is near

Donald Trump prefers to eat ice cream in a cup; Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban likes it in a cone; and billionaire investor Warren Buffett doesn't have a preference, as long as it's a "large serving."

Saturday is National Ice Cream Day. In celebration, a Harris Interactive poll revealed cool findings about Americans:

• More than three in four (78 percent) eat ice cream at least once a month. On average, Americans eat ice cream about three times a month.

• About two in three Americans (65 percent) prefer ice cream in a cup.

• More than one in four (28 percent) prefer ice cream in a cone.
